First Entry

For the study abroad experience, I am anticipating a great adventure. I think that Spain and the university will offer a very culturally rich learning experience and it will be something that I talk about in the future. I am nervous about a few things. I really hope I make a good impression on my host family because they are accepting me into their home and it's important to have a healthy relationship at the house. I'm also nervous about how intensive the program will be. I have a fear that I won't be picking up on the language as fast as the other students and that worries me. I am extremely excited to meet new people and to see new things. I think that if things start off on the right foot with the travel and the host family arrangements then it will be an extremely fun experience. Hopefully everything goes great and I come back with a fuller understanding of the language and a bunch of great memories.
